Prior To Your Arrival:

Taxis are available throughout the city, railway station, coach station, universities, hospitals, Southampton airport and cruise terminals. We aim to use the taxi companies that we have found to be the most reliable and would be delighted to book a taxi on your behalf. Some of them have vehicles adapted for carrying wheel chairs.

On Arrival:
We have 5 parking spaces, 2 on the front forecourt and 3 spaces to the rear of the property behind a locked gate.
Vehicles and contents are left at owner’s risk.
Our front door is accessed by a single step but a ramp can be provided if required.
We are more than happy to help you with your luggage and will collect it from your car and deliver it to your room if required.
Reception Area:
Reception is on the ground floor and carpeted which is suitable for a wheelchair.
Public Areas:
Our corridors are well lit and carpeted.
The ground floor kitchen and laundry have laminate wood flooring as well as the second floor kitchenette. The first floor kitchen has non-slip vinyl flooring.
Toilets:
All rooms are en-suite with own toilet but there is a toilet on the first floor for use by multiple occupancy rooms.
Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting:
We comply with the latest regulations regarding the fire alarm and emergency lighting.
The fire alarm is operated by hard wired smoke and heat detectors with a central control panel. The alarm is a siren with flashing lights. Emergency lighting is in place on all floors. Assistance is given if evacuation is necessary.
Accommodation:
All rooms are en-suite. The bedrooms are carpeted and the shower, wash basin, toilet rooms have non-slip vinyl flooring. There are 2 ground floor rooms, 1 single and the other a double with grab rails in the en-suite and a lower level shower tray. There are 4 first floor rooms, 1 single, 2 twin/double and a triple room which has an inter-connecting door between the single bed and the twin/double bed area. Each room is allocated a refrigerator and dry cupboard space within one of the two kitchens. The kitchens are fully equipped with gas cooker, microwave, toaster, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. On the second floor there is a twin/double room that has an integrated kitchenette area with cooking by inverter microwave, own refrigerator and dry cupboard space. The kitchenette is fully equipped with microwaveable pots, crockery and cutlery. Occupants of this room would also have access to a gas cooker within another kitchen, if required.
